OUR STORY
A trusted partner to UK housebuilders and developers
Athena was created in 2014 to provide UK housebuilders with the reliable supply and install of kitchen worksurfaces.

Working with developers, we saw the problems that arose when ordering surfaces from generalist worktop suppliers. We set about creating a seamless process for the order and install of worksurfaces, designed specifically for the way large housebuilders operate.
A streamlined supply chain
We have designed a seamless process that makes it easy at every stage. It benefits the housebuilder; the showroom; and the customer.

Increasing upsell opportunities
The main area we add value for housebuilders is by helping them increase their margins on houses sold. They achieve this with minimal effort, through a simple upgrade offering.

Developing the core range:
Through experience, we learned to limit the range of Quartz products down to a core of eight. Ordering large volumes of these products get us competitive prices and savings we can pass to our customers. But, more importantly, it helps the upsell.

Providing fewer choices allows more time and opportunity for salespeople to introduce upgrade options. The select array of options for the consumer makes the upgrade sale easier because there is less fear of making the wrong choice.
Partnered with the
UK’s largest housebuilders
We have a team to digitally template and install worksurfaces across the UK and a dedicated customer care team to support. Our customers’ praise our ability to pull things out the bag to help them meet deadlines.

We are quick to react and understand the challenges faced by housebuilders. Our process is designed knowing the timelines our clients are up against. We meet them without fail.
“Athena’s service has streamlined our supply chain. They understand the pressures, constraints, and timelines faced by large housing developers. The team go the extra mile to ensure our customers are not let down.”
