We're a fast-growing worksurface company founded in 2014. We work with developers, merchants, house builders and kitchen studios, providing a full worktop fabrication and installation service.
Our factory and offices are based in Worcestershire where they can service the whole of the UK. It's our goal to be the best worksurface choice for our clients.
We fabricate and install Quartz and Granite worksurfaces and our current offering is Silestone, Dekton, Ceasarstone, Unistone, Compac, and Natural Granite. We have recently launched our own brand range of large format tiles.
About the Role
Business Development Manager
Midlands based, covering from Somerset – Lancashire.
Basic salary circa £30,000 - £35,000 (Depending on experience).
On target earnings (to be discussed at the interview) up to additional £5,000.
Company car, laptop and mobile.
Pension.
The role
Selling the full range of worksurfaces and tiling materials.
Selling directly into housebuilders, contractors, developers, contract kitchen companies, and kitchen retailers.
Dealing with national housebuilders such as Persimmon, Wimpey and Barratts, etc.
Involvement with the training of salespeople within client marketing suites and show homes to encourage the upsell of Quartz/Granite worksurfaces or large format tiling.
Merchandising of the marketing suites and show homes.
Split of contract market 85% and retailers 15%.
Growing existing Kitchen Retailers to offer a fabrication and installation service.
Mix of new and existing business.
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate has a background in work surfaces, kitchens, or related products, and contacts including builders, developers, or contract kitchen companies. We are looking for a broad understanding of kitchen furniture, and the ability to read kitchen furniture plans. The successful applicant will get involved with training and merchandising of the product.
