Sole supplier to Persimmon Homes
Persimmon is one of the UK’s most successful housebuilders. Founded in 1972, Persimmon Homes build over 13,500 new homes a year in more than 350 prime locations nationwide. They are committed to the highest standards of design, construction, and service.
We began supplying one of Persimmon’s regions in 2014 and we’re now proud to be the sole solid surface partner of Persimmon Homes. We have supplied them with over 6,000 surfaces across 350 sites.
The Persimmon Group is made up of a network of 31 regional operating businesses, giving them nationwide coverage. They build homes from North Scotland through to the South West of England.

Streamlined supply across the country
Based in Worcester, we are ideally placed to efficiently service their developments across England and into Scotland and Wales. Our installers travel around the country, digitally templating and installing worktops within 72 hours of the order being placed.
Our worksurfaces form part of the Finishing Touches programme of customers upgrades. The upgrades are chosen after the home buyer purchases their property and makes the final choices for the décor and fittings of their new home. Our solid worksurface upgrade replaces the laminate kitchen worksurfaces that are fitted as standard.
Making the upsell easier
The surface upgrades offered are available in 8 different colours, all of which are available at the same price point. This makes fast quoting much easier for the sales team, and the decision easier for the home buyer, which is a major advantage.
We find that too many surface colour choices make the decision harder. Having a small selection of the most popular options, with clear pricing, increases the chance of the end customer upgrading. More upgrades mean higher margins for Persimmon on each home.
We’re proud of our working relationships with housebuilders. The process we have created is streamlined and because we have heavily invested in our machinery, processes, and people, it’s scalable. It’s our goal to bring our 72-hour solid surface installations to every new home built in the UK.
